Google Launches Employment Program in India As 4 Million Youths Unemployed by COVID-19

The COVID-19 epidemic has affected our lives in more ways than one. While some people have struggled to maintain a healthy lifestyle, others have completely lost their jobs. Clearly, it is a difficult time for many people, especially young ones, who are struggling to raise funds to cope with the epidemic.

Yes, it looks like Google wants to make things easier and that is why it decided to launch a new program called Kormo in India. It is actually an app that will provide assistance to millions of job seekers in the country.

Clearly, it is not as complicated as, he says, LinkedIn is now widely used to find jobs. Kormo is more than just a platform for getting a list of entry levels. In addition to helping users identify open call logs, the app is also designed to help them learn new skills and create a CV.

We think this will be especially true at a time when there is a shift in focus from various businesses to the need for new skills. Bickey Russell, District Manager, and Operations Lead at Kormo Jobs said the company will continue to invest in bringing innovation and work into the program in the future.

We think Google has done the right thing here by launching an app that is more focused on helping people find entry-level jobs now. More than four million people have lost their jobs in India as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic. The nature of the jobs has changed and we hope this will help to slow things down a bit.

Will Google continue to update the app to make it better as a LinkedIn technology connection? Yes, we don't know, but Google doesn't currently have a platform for this and this seems to be a good place to start.

In the meantime, this app could have come at a better time.
