The 60ft-t (18m) robot inspired by the popular Japanese anime series Stunning Gundam has taken its first steps.

The main machine is a humanoid robot similar to the one seen in blockbuster films such as Pacific Rim and Transformers.

The robot was built as part of a new attraction at Yamashita Pier by an engineer at the Gundam Factory in Port Yokohama.

The RX-78-2 Gundam robots were first made in 1979 with the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.
