PUBG among 118 Chinese applications is banned

The popular but controversial mobile game PUBG was among 118 Chinese apps banned by the central government on Wednesday in what is considered to be the latest round of sanctions against China.
PUBG, CamCard, Baidu, Cut Cut, VooV, Tencent Weiyun, Rise of Kingdoms, and Zakzak are among 118 applications banned by the Information Technology Ministry.
The move is seen as a punishment for China as military clashes continue between Beijing and New Delhi.
The department in its official statement said it was asking for their powers under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and said the applications would be a security breach in India.
